Price Adjustment: $1.99 to $3.99

Following the release of Major Update 2, the base price of Egg-Flation will increase from $1.99 to $3.99 on May 11, 2026.

Reason for Adjustment

The initial $1.99 price point reflected the early-access state and limited feature set. The project has undergone mechanical and content expansions, justifying an adjustment to align with the current scope and future development resources. Key additions since launch include:

Steam Cloud saves, native Linux support, and multi-profile management.
Steam Achievements, Laser Weapon system, Snake Totem enemy, and audio overhaul.
Native gamepad input handling and Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment (DDA).
